Why this matters
Hypertension and diabetes are often silent until complications arise. Coupling screening with on-the-spot counseling helps families act early. Adding nutrition guidance and practical supplements, such as Moringa powder, reinforces affordable ways to improve diets. Family planning support empowers parents to space births safely, benefiting mothers and children alike.
The Mother and Child Mbarara Mobile Clinic thanks Kishenyi Church leadership and the local health volunteers who mobilized the community. The team will continue rotating services to hard-to-reach areas, strengthening prevention and early care.
